Marks & Spencer Presents Its New Conran Collaboration at Liffey Valley
Today, Marks & Spencer will launch the preview collection of its new contemporary home range - ‘Conran Exclusive Design Only at Your M&S’.
The much anticipated collaboration, designed under the personal guidance of Sir Terence Conran, includes furniture and upholstery, home accessories, lighting and soft furnishings at M&S prices. The preview collection comprises just 70 inspiring products, focusing on a capsule range of stylish dining and living furniture and accessories.
Offering intelligently designed objects for contemporary living, pieces are based on a sophisticated colour palette that mixes ochre, teal, grey and purple with clean modern shapes that have timeless elegance.
Stand out pieces include: the Ackroyd sofa with iconic curves and sleek metal feet; Wilkins oak shelving featuring petrol blue fire hose valve handles; and a contemporary collection of science inspired vases in ceramic and glass.
The range uses the finest quality materials and craftsmanship with a combination of solid oak and veneer cabinetry, 100% wool upholstery and real feather inners in cushions. All the upholstery is individually made to order in the UK at M&S’s eco factory in Wales with a choice of 14 Conran exclusive fabrics.

Spring 2012 will see a roll out of a much larger collection of over 300 Conran Exclusive Design products for M&S that includes bedding, kitchenware, bathroom accessories and an outdoor range.
