Coming soon – a new multi-functional parent and child space at Liffey Valley shopping centre

The former creche facility at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre has now closed ahead of a refurbishment project to reconfigure this space for customers and their children.
We will soon be opening a new standalone state-of-the-art parent and child space in the coming months.
This brand-new space will offer a range of new services to parents, including:
- Two private baby feeding areas
- A private sensory room
- A baby changing area with 3 separate changing stations
- A food heating station
- A parent and child toilet
- A secure play area
- An open space seating area
- A wheelchair accessible bathroom
Our former creche facility had been in place since the Centre first opened in 1998 and required refurbishment. In drawing up a new plan, we examined existing demand patterns, evolving trends and the requirements of today’s parents visiting the Centre with their babies, toddlers and children. We have also looked at similar services in other centres.
Those considerations have led to a complete redesign of the current offering which we feel will better respond to a wider range of more diverse needs than was the case previously.
